Kyra Awards

The Philippines’ pioneering fund raising awards celebrates brilliant fund raising ideas that bring light and hope to people

Launched in 2004 and held biennially, the Kyra Awards is the premiere fund raising awards given among non-profit organizations in the Philippines.  The First Kyra Awards was introduced during the occasion of the First Fund Raising Congress held by Ventures for Fund Raising on March 30 to 31, 2004 at the AIM.

Holding the distinction as the first of its kind in the country, the Kyra seeks to contribute to the field of fund raising in the Philippines by recognizing best practices in fund raising campaigns as well as promoting excellence in creative resource development achievements.  The Kyra also serves to celebrate partnerships between the profit and non-profit sectors.

The success of the Kyra continued with the holding of the Second Kyra Awards two years later during the Second Fund Raising Congress on August 29 to 30, 2006 at CSB Hotel, Manila.

"From a deficit of PhP1.5 million and about PhP2.5 million in revenues in Program Year 07-08, we have jumped in 08-09 to revenues of PhP 6.8 million and a surplus of about PhP3 million. Venture and JVP did a good job. Thanks very much!" - Jesuit Volunteers of the Philippines
