Venture for Fund Raising
Program Associate  

Employment Status    :    Probationary (4-6 months)
Regular appointment after a satisfactory performance evaluation

Reports to        :        Program Director

Roles & Responsibilities:   
 
•    Work closely with the Program Director in planning, developing, delivering and evaluating consulting and training programs
•    Assist Program Director in coordinating programmatic meetings and events, including scheduling, coordinating some travel and accommodations; preparing and distributing meeting/workshop materials; and providing on-site support
•    Assist with information gathering, data collection and analysis, and writing of reports
•    Provide information and research support for marketing and communication activities
•    Work closely  with Program Director in cultivating prospect clients
•    Provide some clerical duties in support of Program Director
•    Other duties as assigned

Essential Requirements:

•    Bachelors Degree (BS/BA)  or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Experience in program development, evaluation, research, analysis and strategic thinking
•    Strong working knowledge of office management and related administrative procedures
•    Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to board, staff and the general public
•    Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
•    Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
•    Versed in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
•    Demonstrated ability to carry out program activities consistent with mission, vision and values of the organization

Preferred Experience, Skills and Interests:

•    Work experience in philanthropic institution and nonprofit/non-government organization desirable
•     Experience in fundraising, including grant writing, desirable

Resource Development Officer 

Cartwheel Foundation, Inc. is a non-religious, non-stock, non-profit organization that provides access to resources to indigenous communities in the Philippines through education.  Working hand in hand with indigenous communities, Cartwheel establishes new schools, provide teacher training, scholarships, and facilitate indigenization of curriculum including music and art. This allows indigenous Filipinos to enjoy a relevant and culturally appropriate education, and equips them with tools necessary for community leadership and development.
