Building SAO PH’s Organizational Fund Raising Capacity

Last October 26-30, 2020, an online Fund Raising Capacity Building and Planning Workshop was held for Share An Opportunity Philippines (SAO PH)!



The workshop tackled the basic principles, processes, policies, and systems that must be in place before resource mobilization commences. This was followed by a step-by-step guide on the planning process, and concluded with the creation of a medium-term fund raising action plan draft based on the fund raising strategies chosen by the participants.



The training was facilitated mainly through Zoom Meetings and Breakout Rooms, but was also streamed on Facebook Live in a private group created specifically for the workshop engagement. This was done to allow SAO PH staff stationed in far-flung areas with weak internet connection, and those affected by the recent typhoons, the chance to participate in and review the learning sessions.
