The Basic Course on Fund Raising

We are holding the 74th run of our best-selling course this September! The BCFR is open to the public and caters to individuals and groups with minimal fund raising experience. In the past, we have had attendees from non-profit organizations, schools, hospitals, faith-based organizations, and corporations. 

Experienced fund raisers, board members, directors, managers, and development leaders also attend the BCFR to acquire new fund raising ideas, especially given the emerging trends in the current funding landscape.

Strategic Fund Raising Planning Workshop


The Fund Raising Planning Workshop is an intensive planning session that enables your organization’s management team to create a fund raising plan that is strategic, realistic, and organized. Using tried-and-tested tools and templates, fund raising officers, Executive Directors, and key decision-makers of NGOs will learn to:


  • Systematically set targets;

  • Identify potential donor sources; and

  • Develop action plans and fund raising budgets.




The output of this 12-hour online workshop is an effective Draft Fund Raising Plan, ready for discussion with and approval of your Board before you commence implementation in 2023. We highly encourage organizations to send two or more participants to this workshop to enhance the deliberation and discussion on the plan components.
